As model studies are often undertaken too late in a project design program, the potential benefits of improved system performance, simplifications to the design of civil structures and the associated reductions in capital cost, cannot always be fully implemented.
In order to ensure that expensive structural design work does not prove abortive, hydrotec can provide an 'up-front' design service, based on desk top computational studies, which will identify and largely eliminate serious hydraulic problems, prior to the more detailed model study optimization. It is for this reason that we strongly recommend preliminary hydraulic design and subsequent physical modeling are undertaken as early as possible within the overall design program.
hydrotec's services extend to hydraulic auditing of all aspects and types of water related structures. In addition, we undertake the hydraulic design of complete systems, e.g. CSO design and associated mathematical analysis and physical modeling, and the design of complete pumping systems, including pump selection, pump and pipe work layouts, operational controls and inlet and discharge system analysis.
