Hydrotec has many years' experience in testing and development of hydraulic structures. We can offer clients advice and guidance during the conceptual design phase with progression to detailed development and optimisation by physical or CFD modelling. Our early involvement in the design process can help expedite the design phase by reducing the extent of testing and analysis.
Independent Hydraulic Design
With our extensive experience in the design and development testing of hydraulic structures, Hydrotec can provide independent hydraulic auditing of proposed designs to help identify areas of potential concern that could adversely influence the operation of the full size application. This service, when used in conjunction with either CFD or Physical modelling, can provide confidence in the system prior to construction.
Detailed Hydraulic Design
As a part of our overall service, Hydrotec can offer advice on detailed hydraulic design in all aspects of hydraulic system such as flumes, flow control devices, weirs, baffles etc. In addition with our extensive experience we can offer assistance and recommendations on operating philosophies, cleaning cycles, pump cycle times and general control procedures.
